Dr. Huffaker:

I just wanted you to know that I ran my first half marathon today. I finished in 2:34. Today would have never been possible if I had not had my tummy tuck in December. It has been four months, and I feel like I can do all of the things I had put off "until". My boot camp girlfriends were wonderful in helping me try longer distances. I have been running with them on their shorter run days and I've felt great. I took the number and place of a friend who suffered an injury and I actually ran all but two blocks of the run-(love those water stops). The crowd and excitement of the day got me out of mile nine and into thirteen before I knew it! My girlfriend ran the whole way with me, so I had a great coach. (She's registered for the Iron Man Triathlaton this year!) I surprised everyone by running the whole thing. I surprised myself. I have no excuses or issues keeping me from trying new things and achieving new goals. I'm thrilled and so thankful to you for helping me reclaim myself.

Having breast augmentation surgery is something I should have done earlier in my life. I have always had a small chest which didn't get better after two children. For many years I struggled to find A or AA bras that fit, and even then seemed to still be empty. After a couple of years of dealing with a divorce and my mom getting diagnosed with cancer, I finally made the decision. I wanted to do this for myself and it was something I have always thought about.

After meeting Dr. Prada I had an immediate confidence and trust in him. He helped me decide what size would be best for my active lifestyle and fit my body proportions. The surgery went smoothly and six weeks later I was on the beach in Hawaii. The recovery was quick and I was back to work in 6 days.

I am so happy with the results and my decision. I love bra shopping and wearing clothes that I never could before. I feel like this is the way I always should have been.

I was very pleased, with my experience with Dr. Prada; he was easy to talk to and made my surgery experience very comfortable. The pre op consultation was done several weeks before surgery. We talked about the type of surgery how it was going to be performed and what would be best for my situation. He answered all of my questions and gave me his recommendations. On the day of surgery he made me feel at ease and was very professional. He explained what was going to happen and how he was going to operate. He also explained the recovery process in detail. His operating staff, the anesthesiologist and recovery nurses were all very nice and accommodating. It has been approximately 3 months since surgery and I am very pleased with the results. My story is a very personal story that I am sure a lot of women can relate to. I had multiple C sections deliveries and over time felt less and less comfortable with my body. It got to the point where I would only undress in the dark and removed mirrors from my bedroom. After much deliberation I decided on a Tummy Tuck. I was referred to Dr. Huffaker and was immediately comfortable with him. We spoke about me not just my body. He was interested in me as a person not just as a patient. I scheduled the Tummy Tuck and what a difference it made, not just in my body but in my mental state. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I liked the way I looked again.

A few years later, after a stressful period in my life, I decided to act upon a thought I always kept tucked away in the back of my mind. I decided to have breast augmentation surgery. I was always a small breasted woman and there was what I considered a significant difference in the size of my breasts, after years of nursing. Again, I went to Dr. Huffaker. I was very specific about what I wanted and he listened to me. I didn't want everyone to look at me after surgery and just see "boobs" I wanted a very natural look and size. I remember the morning of my surgery I asked him if he remembered what I wanted and he said yes he had my pictures I referred to for my "AFTER" look. He reassured me he knew what I wanted and would not let me down. HE GOT IT PERFECT!

For once in my life I can honestly say I am comfortable with myself. For me, plastic surgery was the way to rebuild by self esteem and confidence.
