Tummy Tuck to Marathon Runner
I just wanted you to know that I ran my first half marathon today. I finished in 2:34. Today would have never been possible if I had not had my tummy tuck in December. It has been four months, and I feel like I can do all of the things I had put off "until". My boot camp girlfriends were wonderful in helping me try longer distances. I have been running with them on their shorter run days and I've felt great. I took the number and place of a friend who suffered an injury and I actually ran all but two blocks of the run-(love those water stops). The crowd and excitement of the day got me out of mile nine and into thirteen before I knew it! My girlfriend ran the whole way with me, so I had a great coach. (She's registered for the Iron Man Triathlaton this year!) I surprised everyone by running the whole thing. I surprised myself. I have no excuses or issues keeping me from trying new things and achieving new goals. I'm thrilled and so thankful to you for helping me reclaim myself. My girlfriend took this picture from her I phone today.
NEVER FEAR THE SCAR!
This is a patient story but she also works for us. This is Di, one of our many wonderful nurses. After having 2 children she was left with a lot of stretch marks and flabby skin. As you can see from her photo, that is not the case anymore. Di had a full tummy tuck and breast augmentation with silicone implants (a.k.a. Mommy Make-over.) After she had this wonderful photo taken I begged her to let me put it on the site to show everyone how you can hide that tummy tuck incision in most swimwear. So here's proof…

Impressive mommy makeover pictures of your nurse. Can you post her before tummy tuck pictures? How did the surgeon get her scar so low?
Our goal is to get that scar as low as possible. The less you have to tuck the lower and smaller the scar. Here are her before pictures, let me know what you think!

I am so excited to tell you..... This morning I woke up to a 15 year younger looking me in the mirror! As I looked past my little 1 inch bruises I found myself remembering that "just yesterday" there were these very deep folds around my nose and mouth that are now gone! I was remembering that I suffered from a disappearing lip line and a sagging cheek and jaw line.........all rejuvenated now! I could not wait to wake my husband for work to get his opinion. As I turned toward him in the kitchen to give him his coffee the first thing he said was," Your wrinkles are gone!" "You look great!" This has done wonders for my self esteem level. At 56 years old, a mother to 6 and a grandmother of 5, I was looking real worn out!
When I did wear makeup and fix my hair I couldn't see myself as anyone but a rapidly aging woman. The kids said I was trying too hard and losing the battle! But today I chuckled as I looked in the mirror because no longer would I be standing there giving myself that (fingers on the face ) lift, saying, “That’s what I could look like!" Thank you so much! You and your staff are to be commended for the friendly, caring, and professional hospitality you showed me in your office. I also want to tell you Debbie, my nurse is a gem! Not only did she gently talk me through the procedures step by step but she is an artist at rejuvenation. She has a great eye for keeping it natural, not overdone and she has a gentle touch. The comfort level was very good!

My daughter Lacey is thrilled with the results of my liquid face lift. My husband is acting like a newlywed.....woohoo!

Breast Lift, Patient Story:
Well my story is pretty simple, after 2 children my body bounced back quite well EXCEPT my breasts. Gravity took over and I became miserable with my appearance. Having breast augmentation surgery is something I should have done earlier in my life. I have always had a small chest which didn't get better after two children. For many years I struggled to find A or AA bras that fit, and even then seemed to still be empty.
